As we dig into the depths of summer, we’re overjoyed to be back among the verdant habitats of the beloved California Botanic Garden for an evening of friends, vibrant jams, and new brews from our friends at SOLARC made with trimmings & plant material from throughout the botanic garden.
Explore and connect with your local bioregion during California Botanic Garden’s annual ~ Garden Grooves ~ gathering. Pack a picnic, explore the largest garden devoted to California native plants, and get down with us as we amplify performances from the epic & prolific Zach Tenorio who has assembled an all star band for the evening featuring Dave Harrington, Aaron Steele, and Spencer Zahn! They’ll play two sets, soundtracking both sides of the sunset, so take a field trip and we’ll find you where the sages meet the oaks.

Doors open at 6p, music begins at 7p and goes through 9p.

Zach Tenorio is a GRAMMY-nominated artist, co-founder, and keyboardist of the innovative Los Angeles trio Arc Iris. In 2024, his co-writing contribution to WILLOW's track b i g f e e l i n g s earned him a GRAMMY nomination on the album empathogen.
A versatile and in-demand musician, Tenorio has collaborated with a diverse range of artists including Kimbra, A.C. Newman, and Jon Anderson (of Yes). He is also a member of the LA-based jam band Taper's Choice, alongside Dave Harrington (DARKSIDE), Chris Tompson (Vampire Weekend), and Alex Bleeker (Real Estate).
He frequently hosts backyard concerts & has soundtracked many gorgeous evenings at Solarc.
