    TreePeople

    For 50+ years our friends at TreePeople have inspired, engaged, and supported more than 3 million people to take action for our environment by planting and caring for trees in our local forests, mountains, parks, schools, and neighborhoods.

    We’re honored to partner with TreePeople on a monthly Friday Night Moonlight Hike bringing together music was eco-education. In addition to this regular series we also co-present the occasional concert in their amphitheater!

    Gatherings here have included Saul Williams Meets Carlos Niño & Friends, Laraaji, San Cha, Kara Jackson, Kalia Vandever, Wild Up, Shannon Lay and so many more friends.

    Audubon Center at Debs Park

    In its holistic, people-focused approach to conservation, the Audubon Center at Debs Park serves as a community hub for environmental justice and advocacy work in Los Angeles.

    It’s a privilege to gather for donation-based music beneath their majestic Peruvian peppercorn tree every third Saturday & the occasional concert in their gorgeous courtyard.

    Arlington Garden

    Arlington Garden is a true testament of the possibilities for urban green-space and the re-allocation of former industrial land. This 3-acre garden is not only friendly to people and pets but also serves as a refuge for Pasadena’s native fauna and the last orange grove along the historic Orange Grove Blvd.

    We love to gather here every second Sunday for a free yoga & music class guided by Qur’an Shaheed.

    LA Compost

    As a community based non-profit, LA Compost supports a healthy transition where food is never wasted, but returned to the soil for the next cycle of life.

    Cooperatively with a diverse network of partners within LA County, they co-create spaces for local compost access and engagement, restorative practices, and community empowerment.

    Community composting takes a collective effort and it’s a joy to work together in bringing music to their seasonal Community Compost Day!

    California Botanic Garden

    California Botanic Garden is the largest botanic garden dedicated to California native plants, promoting botany, conservation and horticulture to inspire, inform and educate the public and scientific community about California's native flora. The Garden is a living museum with curated collections of more than 22,000 California native plants, some of which are rare or endangered.

    Philosophical Research Society

    The Philosophical Research Society is a Los Angeles-based, nonprofit institution founded in 1934 by scholar and prolific author Manly Palmer Hall as a repository of multicultural wisdom sources and a center of learning.

    Throughout 2024, Living Earth was one of the PRS’ curatorial fellows & in our time together have hosted performances from Don Slepian, The Pan Afrikan Peoples Arktet, Angel Bat Dawid, Julius Smack, Lia Kohl, Zander Raymond, Dustin Wong & Brin, and many more friends.

    Bob Baker Marionette Theater

    The Bob Baker Marionette Theater, founded by Bob Baker and Alton Wood in 1963, is the oldest children's theater company in Los Angeles.

    We’re so proud to co-curate the Hooray LA! stage for their annual Bob Baker Day and occasionally host music within their magical theater. Concerts have included Laraaji and Chihei Hatakeyama.

    Leaving Records

    Leaving Records is an artist-and-community-centered entity—most recognizable as a prolific LA-based record label—cultivating a more financially just and autonomous future for independent, experimental musicians and the individuals who support them.

    Catch us helping out with Leaving’s outstanding Listen To Music Outside In The Daylight Under A Tree series every first Saturday and let us know if you’d like to volunteer!

    dublab is a Los Angeles-based, community-supported internet radio station and creative collective dedicated to the growth of positive music, arts, and culture.

    Whether it be a zine fest or music at LAX, dublab has been an enormous advocate and supporter of our work.

    International Anthem

    International Anthem is a Chicago-born recording company that produces some of our absolutely most essential records.

    Founded in 2013, the mission of International Anthem is to make positive contributions to the changing state of the music industry.

    AKP Recordings

    AKP Recordings is a creative hub for experimental music and visual art. They champion an artistic community pushing the limits of ambient, alternative jazz, experimental, krautrock, downtempo electronica, and avant garde expression including artists like Kalia Vandever, Dave Harrington with Patrick Shiroishi & Max Jaffe, and Ki Oni.
