  • Elysian Park (pin drop with rsvp) (map)

Paige Emery at the Center For Medicinal Plant Conservation

Gather with us on the morning of July 20th as we reconnect to nature through illustration, led by artist and herbalist Paige Emery. We’ll begin with a short walk through Elysian Park, learning about the native plants of the trail to deepen our connection with our home. Paige will teach drawing plants from life, including drawing techniques, botanical drawing principles, and connecting with the essence of the plants to flow in creativity. Everyone will take home their drawings of plants at the end of the class & all experience levels are encouraged.

Please bring a sketchbook, pencil & eraser, sun protection, water, and a blanket to sit on.

Paige Emery is an artist, herbalist and plant dreamer exploring ways of remembering the Earth. Paige has a background in fine arts, herbalism, and ecology, and has been teaching art for over 10 years.
