Friday Night Moonlight Hike | Environmental Studies

  • TreePeople 12601 Mulholland Drive Beverly Hills, CA, 90210 United States (map)

Grab a flashlight, a sweater, and join us to explore Coldwater Canyon Park and neighboring Wilacre Park under the stars. Every fourth Friday we host an evening of music along a ridge trail overlooking the valley, while TreePeopleโ€™s wonderful Eco-Educators lead three different hikes, so all ages and experience levels are welcome. This month, in honor of Earth Week, weโ€™ll be joined by our friends Environmental Studies.

Check-in starts at 6:30pm, music shortly after 7pm, the hike starts at 8 pm, and weโ€™ll have hot tea available for the first hour! Early registration is required, and this evening is subject to change due to weather. See you on the mountain!

Environmental Studies is a group of Los Angeles musicians whose sound explores the outer realms of experimental jazz, minimal synth, ethno-industrial, and dub. Once a moniker for Daniel Diakoโ€™s minimal synth experiments (The Moviegoer, 2022), they have since evolved into a live outfit with a blend of unusual electronics, left-field rhythms, surreal sound envelopes, and twisted brass instruments.
