We’re so excited to be back among the many habitats of California Botanic Garden for their second annual Native Plant Festival! In an era of misinformation and discordance, we are firm believers that the natural world often provides examples of a more symbiotic form of existence, and we’re just really looking forward to sharing this day of music, workshops, and interspecies dialogue.

Explore, learn, and connect with your local bioregion during this free festival hosted by the largest native plant garden in California! Wander through inland and coastal sage scrub communities, chaparral, oak woodlands, conifer forests, riparian habitat, and visit with the most furthest-west growing grove of Joshua Trees.

Join us in learning about the beauty, variety, and resiliency of our state’s native ecosystems, alongside discussions, workshops, and live performances. It’s what dreams are made of!

Amidst conversation and workshops on biodiversity and resiliency, you can look for our Living Earth stage in the cultivar garden, underneath a great oak tree and hopefully among the monarchs. Soundtracking this idyllic day are Paul Livingstone & Alma Cielo, Diego Gaeta & V Ontiveros, Alex Wand & Nelle June Anderson, and Two Point (Sharada Shashidhar & Caleb Buchanan).

Entry is free but we encourage RSVP’ing in advance as the day does reach capacity. However, if you don’t get to it in time, there’s always room for walkups. While you’re in Claremont, we also encourage you to check out some of our favorite local spots like the Folk Music Center.
