National Trails Day | A Plant ID & Local History Hike with Noah the Naturalist

Join us this National Trails Day with our resident California Certified Naturalist to chat all things Griffith Park & hopefully learn about some of our leafy friends along the way. We’ll be meeting within the park, near Los Feliz, and directions will be shared upon RSVP!

We’ll wander along a 2.5mi loop trail, nearly half of which will be uphill. We’ll take it slow for everyone’s enjoyment, and this hike is open to all skill levels. Please bring water, wear comfortable shoes + a hat, and maybe afterwards we’ll hang out at a beloved cafe tucked away inside the park.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Noah Klein has built their life exploring the sonic interconnectedness of all beings. Whether plants or people, deep time or shared space, they fundamentally seek to share stories of resilience and self-determination. A lifelong organizer of many beloved projects (FMLY, Silent Barn, Printed Matter’s Art Book Fairs, Ambient Church, Floating), they most recently co-founded the worker-owned Living Earth arts organization, host a seasonal show on dublab documenting histories of interdependent arts spaces, run a small tape label, help with Leaving Records’ Listen To Music Outside In The Daylight Under A Tree, and are probably playing flute in your local park at this very moment.
