AnAkA by Sasha Jelan
Lace up your hiking shoes and meet us atop David Lynchโs Mulholland Drive. Every month we gather with the phenomenal stewards of TreePeople to host live music and hot tea at the edge of a ridge trail, followed by a nighttime hike guided by your local neighborhood eco educators.
Weโre honored to close our time with TreePeople this year with a most inspiring multi-disciplinary artist and land steward, AnAkA.
Check-in starts at 6:30pm, music shortly after 7pm, and we split into our hiking groups promptly at 8 pm. Because of limited parking early registration is highly encouraged & three different hikes are held so that all ages and experience levels are welcome. See you on the mountain!
AnAkA is ceremonialist, doula, artist, archivist, healer and holistic world builder. She conducts space with Angel Music: a bioenergetic frequency medicine given to her by the Angels. These songs first came to AnAkA after their first death doula experience. They use this music medicine with other traditional medicines (plants, dance, the elements) to conjure safe space for sacred wisdom exchange. Angel Music is the beating heart to the holistic body of sacred wisdom preservation works cultivated within her company AKTIV8, a sacred wisdom preservation centre.
