Grab a flashlight, a sweater, and join us to explore Coldwater Canyon Park by moonlight!
Held every fourth Friday with our friends at TreePeople, we bring together local music & native ecology to host an evening of sunset sounds along a ridge trail overlooking the valley. Following each monthโs meaningful performance, TreePeopleโs knowledgeable eco-educators lead three different hikes so that all ages and experience levels are welcome. This month weโll be joined by Adrian Tenney of Badlands, performing solo.
Check-in starts at 6:30pm, music shortly after 7pm, the hike starts at 8 pm, and weโll have hot tea available for the first hour! Early registration is required, and this evening is subject to change due to weather. See you on the mountain!
Adrian Tenney utilizes visual art, songwriting, landscape design, and video to weave together ideas around ecology, reciprocity, environmental justice, and individual + community healing.
Outside of shredding in Badlands, she is currently a designer at TERREMOTOโs Los Angeles office where she manages landscape projects and consults for the Tataviam Land Conservancy, the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Land Conservancy, and Acjachemen Tongva Land Conservancy on #LandBack projects in the Los Angeles region.
