A longtime joyous steward of arts and culture in Los Angeles, our dear friend Logan Hone
relocates to Portland at the end of June and we are so happy to have him back here with us tonight in glooorious ensemble :’)

Logan Hone is an artist of infinite wonders. He’s an impeccable purveyor of woodwinds, visionary video editor, champion of the hacky sack, longtime organizer of Art In The Park, and as you’ll soon see, a phenomenal composer and bandleader.

Whether you know Logan from his deeply spirited live performances, or from his appearances on recordings with John Carroll Kirby, Weyes Blood, Lana Del Rey, Hand Habits, Father John Misty, Brijean, Eddie Chacon, Booker Stardrum, and so many more, or if this is your first time crossing paths… please know you’re in for something special.

Logan’s assembling an all-star band for the occasion & in addition to music we’ll find added merriment in improvisatory puppetry performed alongside the musicians. Has this year also made you weary? Does the heart need some tender communal nourishment? In the words of David Byrne, this must be the place.

Thank you to our dear friends and collaborators of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater for hosting us this evening. 50% of ticket sales will go back towards supporting our beloved community pillar so pls donate generously if you have the means!

The Bob Baker Marionette Theater is home to more than 3,000 puppets, one of LA’s greatest archives of both puppet history and novelty music, and have played an essential role in entertainment culture outside of the theater having worked on everything from Mister Rogers Neighborhood to Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. In addition to collaborating on occasional concerts together, Living Earth has been a production partner for Bob Baker Day at LA State Historic Park since 2024.
