a scene from the AKP Recordings garden
We’re diving into peak summertime & it is hooot!
Let’s throw a backyard garden show to cool off?
Gather with us and our friends of AKP Recordings at their HQ in Silverlake to celebrate the distinct stylings of two of our guitar heroes and astonishing modern day rippers: Jessica Ackerley & Dustin Wong. AKP are opening up their transportive basement sound installation that you don’t want to miss, standstill are coming through with an inspiring assortment of tea, and if guitars in gardens doesn’t satiate the palate we’re literally setting up our stage on a half-court (but will be hiding the basketball).
Come for the shred, stay to learn about the deep discography of AKP and peruse our literature from friends like No Canyon Hills, Stop the Gondola, and our shared communities that hold this city accountable.
