Amid a rapidly expiring culture and scarcity of shared meaning, this gathering serves as a container for collective and individual grief. Via ceremonious procession, The Cortège mourns the fate of the modern era, invites a reckoning with the New Gods of Perplexity, and shepherds souls toward what lies beyond the veil.
Living Earth is honored to co-present four nights of improvisatory and ecstatic live performance in the Beyond, the trail marker for the completion of your night’s journey, a sacred container for release and reintegration where the emotional catharsis of the procession finds resolution. On Sunday night we are blessed with a performance with Nailah Hunter, crafting and weaving delicate sounds for harp exploring the veiled grief of matrescence. Together, we seek to alchemize grief into sacred connection, transforming individual sorrow into collective healing.
