Friends & Family!
On this evening of Friday the 13th, we welcome our dear friend Anna Wise back to Los Angeles. Gather with us to sit within song, share tea, attune into the native ecology of our region, and honor the spirit of self-determination within all that Anna brings into this world.
Doors at 6:30p with tea and conversation.
Music begins around 7p.
More information on the way.
For 20+ years the Audubon Center at Debs Park has been a beacon for how conservation organizations can work within our cities to cultivate a deeper relationship between people and place. Through monthly hikes, restoration days, bird walks, field trips, movie nights, community festivals, and hosting gatherings like these each and every month, the Audubon Center at Debs Park has played an essential role in building a more diverse and inclusive conservation movement here in Los Angeles.
We’re so grateful for the humans of the Audubon Center, the advocacy that they champion in dialogue with local culture and native ecology, and it is an absolute honor to gather here together on the 3rd Saturday of (almost) every month in addition to the occasional courtyard rental. Since 2022 we’ve hosted dozens of gatherings with the Audubon Center, including friends such as Carlos Niño, San Cha, Def Sound, Openness Trio, Chuck Johnson, NYALLAH, Walt McClements, Annabelle Freedman, Modern Biology, and many more.
