The birds are singing, the skies are blue, and we’ll see you in the shade of our omniscient peppercorn tree friend within the Audubon Center at Debs Park for a donation-based afternoon of art and ecological attunement featuring LA’s beloved Infinite Body.
It’s hot, we know, so come sweat it out with us while listening to one of our most locally revered composers of affect, sculpters of noise, of gutteral catharsis, of simply deeply meaningful music. Infinite Body has been a soundtrack for the last 16 years of so many of our lives, and regardless of whether you can viscerally feel when carve out the face of my god first entered your life or if this is your first time becoming acquainted with Kyle Parker’s music, this afternoon is for you. Let these last days of summer bring you transcendence and transformation, and we’ll see you in our peppercorn tree sauna for some mid-day revelations through music.

For 20+ years the Audubon Center at Debs Park has been a beacon for how conservation organizations can work within our cities to cultivate a deeper relationship between people and place. Through monthly hikes, restoration days, bird walks, field trips, movie nights, community festivals, and hosting gatherings like these each and every month, the Audubon Center at Debs Park has played an essential role in building a more diverse and inclusive conservation movement here in Los Angeles.
We’re so grateful for the humans of the Audubon Center, the advocacy that they champion in dialogue with local culture and native ecology, and it is an absolute honor to gather here together on the 3rd Saturday of (almost) every month.
